Non-intumescent thermal-barrier fireproofing underlayer. Must always be used within a complete system (System A for walls/wood: KC-015 primer -> KL-013 -> KL-015 topcoat, or System B for metal: KL-016 primer -> KL-013 -> KL-015 topcoat), never as a standalone finish.

- Fire class: 120 minutes (2 hours) at only 500 microns DFT (vs. 1500-2500µm for traditional epoxies)
- Reduces a 600°C flame to 200°C on steel (below steel's 500°C failure point) or to 98°C on wood
- Standards: ASTM E119, BS 476 Pt 20/21, EN 13381-8
- Accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Defence Chemical Warfare Department (report 64/S/M) and HBRC
